Prof. Dr Zahid Anwar, Chairman, of the Peace, Education and Development Foundation (PEDF) and Director General of Pakistan Institute of China Studies, Peshawar was appointed as a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Center at Kashi University, Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region of the People`s Republic of China from 15th of July 2023 to 15th of July 2026. Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar is thankful to the leadership of Kashi University, especially Prof. Dr. CHEN Ruihua, Director CCPEC, Kashi University for the honour of this appointment. Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar has organized many conferences, and seminars and presented many papers on CPEC, BRI, and Pakistan and China Relations at national and International conferences. He also frequently discusses important themes including BRI and CPEC on different national and International media channels.
